This item arrived in a timely manner, but on Christmas day we used three (3) sets of brand new batteries and it will not work. I need to return it for a full refund. Please let me know how this can be accomplished. It was a disappointment to say the very least.

I bought this for my boys after reading all the positive reviews. I probably set them up for disappointment by telling them how good it was going to be.
We rushed outside and turned it on. Sure it shows someone standing 20 feet away but it wasn’t pitch black and you could see the person anyway. Even the snow was lit up.
With infrared I assumed all cold objects would show up differently than hot. I thought a person partially hiding behind a tree would stand out. Not the case.
For a different experiment I went in the bathroom and turned on the hot water.
Then after shutting it off I turned out the lights and looked to see if the spout was a different color than surrounding items since it was hot.
No difference.
So if this is for a little kid playing in the house it is neat and fun. Otherwise you may be disappointed.

Ok bottom line this is a toy and it’s under a 100. 00 bucks. It does work and considering it’s a toy it works well.
It’s made of very light weight plastic and will not stand up to any rough handling so if your idea is to use it running around at night playing paint ball then it’s going to have a short life expectancy.

they work very well
you can’t see threw glass with them
i tryed my window it was pitch black
i tryed a rifle scope it was white
you feel like your walking with one eye closed if you try to move around
funny because limited area of view makes you go left and right alot as you trying to adjust. . i felt like a insect

I ordered this product for my grandsons along with the laser tag. The description said goggles however what I received was binoculars. When I looked at the Amazon site again, it is clear that the description is wrong. The product is binoculars. I am disappointed because it is hard to play laser tag and hold the binoculars at the same time. I am sure they will be as disappointed as I am.
